Katherine Yang (1998) is an artist and illustrator based in Taipei and New York City.

“One habit Katherine has had since she was little, and still struggles to overcome, is obsessing over negative thoughts and experiences. Her work visually represents these ruminations, employing repetition and patterns to mirror her inner turmoil.

She often uses vibrant colors and happy characters to juxtapose the darker themes she explores, combining superficial appeal with deeper, more intimate content. Through her art, Katherine guides audiences on a journey of recognizing and embracing their emotions. She firmly believes that art serves as a means of self-discovery, as it has enabled her own personal growth and self-connection.”
